I just got The In Crowd by The Ramsey Lewis Trio.

Wish I could have been at that show. The title track makes my hair stand on end.

And this album is a great example of an album that has serious dynamics. They take it down so low at points, you think it's a fade out, but then they come stomping back in. Yeah! :thu:-~

I love this album and I just opened it yesterday.

If this is the same recording I am familiar with I would have to agree it has an uncanny sense of being there, like you are in a club with people around you listening to a great band, a classic!

Too hard to pick just one, so here's a few:D

Gov't Mule - Live....With a Little Help From Our Friends

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Live Alive

Pearl Jam - Live at Benaroya Hall

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

Neil Young - Live Rust

Led Zep - How the West Was Won

Johnny Cash - At Folsom Prison

Jimi Hendrix - Live at Monterey (Otis Redding's set was pretty damn hot too)

Fu Manchu - Go For It....Live!

The Doors - Absolutely Live

Bob Marley - Live at the Roxy

The Black Crowes - Freak 'n Roll...Into the Fog

I saw them on New's Year Eve in New Orleans on that tour. Was the best concert experience of my recollection.

I also like Cream Goodbye.

Woodstock was an unprecedented live recording with plenty of ups and downs, but Jimi's Star Spangled Banner stands out as a live performance.
