Good Job Russ!! I've been listening to it the last two days driving my truck.. Credits to where they belong,... Excellent Job Russ!!!! You guys should give it a listen. He's got one of those voices, sorta like Dr. John...either you love it or you hate it. I dig it. But his daughter was with him, and that girl can flat out sing. Thanks I've had my headphones on too long and didn't realize this was posted !!! If anyone is interested, the CD is available on Leon's web site: http://www.leonrussellrecords.com/ "Angel In Disguise" is the new one. I utilized a lot of Bruce Swedien tricks that were put into action beginning to end. "Fantastic" stopped by to a few of the sessions and we had a great time. Today I just finished making INST versions of the album and am listening to it right now ... also some real stripped down versions ... Was a bit disappointed that his signature piano playing has now mostly been replaced with synth brass and strings, but all in all, it was a solid show.
