I borrowed a couple of videos on mixing from a friend.Last week I redid my studio and had to unplug everything and replug. Now I started watching this video By a guy called David Gibson. He uses colored balls and funky visuals to teach about stereo placement when I noticed that something right on the screen,...sounded from my left speaker. I thought I plugged some cables in the wrong way and disconnected everything to do it again... Same problem,.... I took the DVD to the livingroom and played it on TV,... Guess what?? It's a DVD that teaches you mixing with visuals but the audio channels are switched,.. Assholes,.. it took me an hour to unplug everything here. It's a cool DVD by the way,.. a bit weird and dated but I guess for a lot of people it explains a lot. I had difficulties with the visuals because I allready visualize sound automatically in my brain,.. so the shapes and colors were wrong for me.
