What sequencer is easiest to use and can be used with dimension pro?

Anyone know by any chance?

Sonar is way too complicated for my needs.

I want to make nice music that I could use for a computer game. I have a keyboard I'm using as a controller that is connected to my m-audio fast track pro.

Ableton seemed pretty easy to use (The software that it came with)

I've used DimPro with Sonar, Project 5, Sonar Home Studio and Ableton. I would bet that any sequencer that will host DXi or VST plug ins will be fine. I've been most happy with Project 5 and Ableton.

FL Studio is a great sequencer.

I know many here probably think of it as a toy,

which was true in it's early incarnation as the unfortunately

named Fruity Loops.

(It's a shame about the original name which in itself turned,

and still turns, a lot of people away from it.)

Also some people don't like the original, pattern

based, paradigm, but that has all changed now.

You can work with looping patterns or use a totally

track based, linear approach or mix and match.

It is now a full blown audio/midi studio, comes with

some very good synths and heaps of FX , including

value for money.IMHO, considering the Synths and

other plugins that come bundled with it, it is the best

value for money sequencer on the market.

There are many things that can be done in FL Studio,

that can't be done in any other program.......

And yes it will run Dimension Pro and any other

VST/VSTi or Direct X plugin.

FL Studio Rocks....

People who may've tried it in it's early incarnations

may be pleasantly surprised to see how powerful it

has become.
