I watched this movie last night. Honestly, it was not as funny as I thought, but it did hit on damn near every music biography cliche there is, so I think there are FEW musicians who will not enjoy this movie..

The child blues thing alone is worth it...

Still chuckling over the innocent/dirty duet song.

yeah, I thought the tunes were very good. Let's Duet being the standout.

Dewey Cox: Hello, Darling.

Darlene: Hello, Mr. Cox.

Cox: Are you ready to sing one?

Darlene: I'm always ready.

Cox: Alright. In my dreams you're blowing me

My wife rented it a week or so ago via Netflix. She watched it first, then said I should probably see it. I hadn't even heard of it previously. It's pretty rank in some spots, but I thought it was a decent movie and definitely had some funny moments. It's definitely funnier if you know the history of Ray Charles, Brian Wilson, Johnny Cash etc. and if you've seen movies like Walk The Line and Ray.
