Members dahkter
FYI: There's a well crafted spam email out today, keep your eyes out for it. Here at the office, we're receiving a bogus email on 25% of our computers, it snuck past anti-virus and spam filters, if you get it, do not click on the link. Online I found the following quote which explains why this is bogus: "Keep in mind Microsoft does NOT ever send you email updates, they are all done within windows itself. The attached payload of this virus is called Troj/Spy-CU and is in fact a trojan, which may capture your keystrokes and logons to your banking and other critical personal information." Here is a what the message looks like:________________________________ ________________________________ From: Microsoft Customer Support [mailto:no-reply@microsoft.com]Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 8:58 AMTo: xxxSubject: Install Critical Update for Microsoft Outlook Critical Update Update for Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express (KB910721) Brief Description Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express.
