Members slight-return Posted June 29, 2009 Members Share Posted June 29, 2009 Oh, that kind of star I was thinking more like if there was some kind of circumstance (what those could be, i dunno) where you could have a collapsar style black hole rotating fast enough and there was sufficient frame dragging that some form of closed curvature (a bubble of sorts) could form in space timeThe mechanics of it, I don't think would actually work like cavitation or a paddle or screw but the effect would, maybe, be aesthetically similar (at least in broad strokes)or maybe it'd be similar to hawking radiation in a way so you'd have "dead star islands" of spacetime eh, just a thought toy - but it's what popped into my mind when I saw the term "dead star island" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
