As an artist on iTunes, I actually think this is very cool. I've never felt that 30 seconds is enough to really impart the vibe of the song, and you constantly compromise between allowing listeners to preview verses versus choruses, and so on.

I agree. I`m iTunes artist as well and 30 seconds is not enough. I always like giving people the second verse, chorus going into middle 8... that pretty much gives them the jest of the song w/o giving it ALL away.
