CMS Author MikeRivers Posted September 1, 2012 CMS Author Share Posted September 1, 2012 I remember when the Herman Miller Aeron chair was the one to get. Anybody got one of those? It's about $600. Me, I use a $125 Office Depot chair and just get a cushion at Target when I wear one out, notwithstanding.
Members elsongs
I think Aeron chairs are OVERRATED. I had one when I worked an IT help desk job over a decade ago, still felt uncomfortable.
Members UstadKhanAli
The CoreChair seems really interesting. Good idea. I have been using an exercise ball for years, and like that, but do sometimes switch to a "regular" chair after a while. Switching back and forth is pretty good if I am sitting on an exercise ball for more than 2-3 hours for me.

Members Huh?
Wow that's great. I have often thought about taking the excercise ball concept and incorporating that into a chair, every time I sit on one. Not only can the danged ball can get away from you but it does not have a rigid and somewhat flat seat, plus that chair will hold its stable position while the seat pivots. Nice.....I hope this works out big time for your friend. I can see that sucker going "viral" with doctors. Has he set a price yet? I missed that. These things will not be for lazy people though and I can see needing a break from it also, until the core gets very strong.

Members nice keetee
Interesting topic, ergonomics etc.Bean bag chairs are comfortable but usually the monitors are too elevated to hear proper.
Members Geoff Grace
Sounds moderately expensive by office chair standards, but dirt cheap compared to back surgery. If health insurance policies covered this sort of thing, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone would save money in the long run
Members Beck
But can I sit in my normal studio position, leaning back with my feet on the console, drinking rum and Coca~Cola? (Just kidding about the rum part, because I don

I guess after a learning curve on how far it travels it would be OK.
