But I'm guessing that you just mean the plain meaning - 3D meaning "in the round" representations in 2 dimensions. Figures and shapes that the software can flip, rotate, turn, etc. CGI stuff. As opposed to say, 2 dimensions only which would be like old fashioned cartoon drawing - you can still create the illusion of seeing 3 dimensions, but the software cannot manipulate the objects as if in actual 3D space.
