It's faster, quieter, and more energy efficient than the old one) 15.4" 1280x800 widescreen Swiss Gear Case These are great laptops for the money. This laptop is in good condition with a clean install of Vista Home Premium 32-bit and Microsoft Security Essentials for virus protection. I originally bought if for recording (It's the quietest laptop I've ever used when switched to passive cooling mode). I'm interested in trading it towards higher end laptops (Mac or PC) geared towards recording. I'll also trade it for or towards high end components (ATI 5870s, 2TB hard drives, and SSDs). The battery is good for about 1 to 2 and a half hours of use depending on what you're doing with it. I'll switch the hard drive with a 30GB SSD if anyone wants it configured that way. It's screaming fast with the SSD but you'll need somewhere else to store all of your data.
