Members lossforgain
Here's a 90's era K "Ride" (yes, that's the model name) in all 20" of its glory. This has been my main ride for over 10 years, having been hand-selected by my last professional instructor. To my ears, this is the perfect, all-around ride. It has decent definition in the sticking, yet enough wash to be playable on the edge. Certainly crashable, although doesn't break up like some thinner models. The fundamental pitch is just south of medium IMO. I've used it in pop, rock, country, and jazz situations and never been sorry. Although played well and loved well for over 10 years, there are no issues with this pie -- I have cared for her like family. No keyholing, dings, dents, nicks, or other problems. Just sweet sounds and vibes. Only $185 SHIPPED in the US48! A new one is at least $283... Ebay/HC references available. I can meet up in the central mid-Atlantic region. This is a GEM of a ride cymbal. Enjoy.
