Members lossforgain Posted March 20, 2009 Members Share Posted March 20, 2009 This is one of Sabian's most popular rides for a reason -- it is much more musical than most "Rock Ride" models. The sticking is well defined and it is (as the name suggests) dry in response. The unlathed bell delivers a clear and pleasing note. This cymbal is the brilliant finish model. There are no problems with this cymbal, but there are a couple of superficial scratches on the underside of the bell where the ride probably rubbed a metal washer (before I owned it). This is minor, but I believe in full disclosure. Hole is in-round, edges are smooth. Logos are somewhat faded on top but I have a closeup of them available to verify that it IS a Raw Bell Dry model. Closeup of model logo $195 shipped in the US48. A new one would be at least $320! Selling references available, always happy to do a local meet within the central mid-Atlantic region.
