Members lossforgain
If for a moment you don't worry about the fact that these didn't come together, I'll tell you a story. Once there was a plain-old Sabian HH 13" Regular hi hat top who had lost its mate. For years it lived with an AAX Stage bottom, but the two of them finally parted ways amicably. Then it became part of a combustible relationship with a Zildjian Z Dyno Beat, playing the role of the K top. This too did not suit the Regular top. One day, this guy met a Sabian HH EQ hi hat top, and as soon as they touched, he knew. This is the one he was meant to be with. Regular top over EQ top, a perfect harmonious balance of warm tone and crisp response. Great for jazz, light rock, and pop. The flat EQ hat gives some natural "compression" to the pair and makes them articulate. There are no issues with either cymbal -- holes are perfect, edges are perfect, no cracks or dings or anything else to worry about. And did I mention they are CHEAP?!? Now only $105 shipped in the US48! A new set of HH 13s will run you at least $315! References are available if you wish. Local meet-up is possible in the central mid-Atlantic. Come and get it!
