Members lossforgain
These two sound fantastic together! The first is an Istanbul Mehmet 17" Paper Thin crash, and the second is an Istanbul Agop 18" Thin crash. Both are in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, dents, hole or edge problems. Apologies in advance, I'm not set up to do soundfiles. The 17" Paper Thin does not have a gram weight written on it, but I can get the weight for you in a day or so if you wish. I never bothered to weigh it because I wasn't going to sell it. It's smooth and buttery and beautiful, bright compared to the Agop 18 but not bright like Sabians and Zildjians of today. In addition to the Agop 18, it mixes well with my vintage Sabians and Zildjians. The 18" Thin is labeled 1470g. It has a deep and warm wash, which is a great contrast to the Mehmet 17. This would also work well as a light jazzy ride if you want something that REALLY gets out of the way fast when played with a light touch.
