It's a true-blue, real-deal, one-of-a-kind handcrafted instrument. Makore, an African relative of cherry, gives this snare a very bright and snappy sound. Its crack is nicely balanced with its deep vintage-style 6mm shell, which yields a pleasant woody tone with plenty of body. Thin poly finish to preserve the sonic tone of the wood.
