Members lossforgain
Monoply: a steam-bent single piece of wood! Cherry, in this case, sounds like a more-refined and warmer version of your favorite maple snare drum. I've used this drum for low-volume articulation in acoustic gigs, up to mid-volume rock, with no complaints. This baby's name is "Benny" and was made in 2003. I am the original owner and have taken extreme care with the drum. There are NO marks, dings, dents, scratches, cracks or other problems on the shell -- NOT ONE. I won't say the chrome is "perfect," just in case you find a minor pimple or scratch where I don't, but there are definitely no blemishes I can see. Still has the original Dunnett Aquarian heads (batter is worn), original 42-strand snare wires, original clear Nickel strainer with no cracks or problems. I usually do not disengage snares on-the-fly and the strainer has never failed me. I say again, this drum is in excellent almost-new condition. Below, the drum is second from the top on the left. I can get more detailed photos for anyone who is seriously interested. Trades: In snare drums, I am interested in a Craviotto snare of any variety, Premier Signia/Signia Marquis/Genista snares, Ludwig snares vintage or modern, or potentially others. Trade offers are welcome. Sale: This drum is available for straight purchase for $549 alone, or $599 with a used (black, good condition) Humes and Berg Enduro case. Buyer pays actual shipping and PayPal fee. I will ship internationally, but any customs fees, duties or other taxes will be the responsibility of the buyer.
