Members lossforgain Posted November 1, 2009 Members Share Posted November 1, 2009 Yes, I mean it. It's really a Blue-Olive badge BRONZE shell Supra in the much-adored 6.5x14 size. The only catch is that it's a recent drum, 2008 to be exact. I will say this: there are no issues with this drum -- it's almost new. If you have specific questions please send me a PM, I welcome it. The shell has NO MARKS on it that I can find, and there are NO CHROME PROBLEMS. The drum has the original Ludwig snares and P85 strainer, all perfect condition and working perfectly. I removed the lugs and installed some Ludwig Imperial gaskets developed for the titanium Chief snare drum, which dramatically diminish the lug-splay problem these shells have had over the last several years. Tension rod movement is MUCH easier and more even with these gaskets installed. I've used this drum tuned high and low and it sings beautifully. Add the vintage mojo of the B-O badge and the like new condition, and she's a winner in every way. Again, please PM me if you have any questions. This drum new on Musician's Friend runs $574.00!
