I love this cymbal, and I'm sorry to see her go. I've played her for about a year and enjoyed every minute, but my current needs are different.

This Bosphorus has a beautiful sounding stick response, a dry and relatively short sustain, and a medium to low pitch with a very pleasant complexity about her. At first I wasn't sure I liked the bell sound because I was used to getting a volume boost out of the bell tones of my cymbals, but I've come to appreciate the more proportional bell sound I get from my Bosphorus cymbals. The bell is well-integrated with an appropriate amount of the complexity of the overall cymbal tone. Because of the pitch of this cymbal I'd say she's not a "rock" ride, although she's a bit heavier than other Bos's I've played, weighing in at an even 3000g. With the pitch being lower, she is best suited in pop and acoustic rock to some styles of jazz. I'm a big fan of the way this cymbal (like other Bos's I've owned) washes when I want and gets out of the way quickly.

She has no dings/dents/hole or edge problems. You'll love her as much as I do.
