Members lossforgain
This 18" pie sounds great. It's a little bit on the medium side (not thin, but not too heavy) and weighs in at 1535g. The trademark stamp is typically pegged as a 60s one, but I believe it to be from the late 50s based on the hammering and lathing patterns I can see. The Natural patina is intact. No dings, dents, cracks, or problems that I see. A warm crash with slightly complex wash -- did I mention it sounds great? $105 shipped in the US48! This 20" pie sounds phenomenal! One of my favorite old A's, actually. At 2190g, this one plays with more definition than some light old A rides I've had, but still has some edge wobble and a nice crash sound when shanked on the edge. Again, a nice warm sound with slight complexity to it, but like the 18 there are no unpleasant overtones. No dings, dents, cracks, etc, you know! Does have the very slight beginning of hole wear. Gorgeous patina -- lovely cymbal. $145 shipped in the US48! OR, you can buy both: $229 shipped in the US48!
