Members eighthrs
Asking Price: US$1100 Condition: Excellent Age: 30+ years Straight from that great era the 1970's and it's famous Ibanez/Penco copy craze where many of the most sought after instruments ever built were allegedly built by those who weren't allowed to: A greenglo burst finish Penco Newport 4001 bass in beautiful original old condition. It has about the expected share of nicks and scratches (see pics) for an instrument of this age. Recently set-up by a professional luthier. Fully functional. Plays easily. Sounds cool. More affordable certainly, arguably more well built than the original, Instruments from this period are becoming quite collectable due to their relatively high quality, the story surrounding them, and the rarity of finding one for sale. Sought after overseas from what I hear... In any case, for half the cost of the original, a very cool old instrument and a piece of music and legal history. Make your offer! Please simply let us know if you have any questions. Thanks! cut and paste these url's into your browser to see the Pics if they don't display! Members brianeharmonjr
Cool bass, but WAY too rich for my blood. You can find an actual Ric for that price.
Members duff84
yah 1100 is quite steep for a rick copy considering what some used ricks are going for. good luck nonetheless
