Members Yavin Posted July 4, 2008 Members Share Posted July 4, 2008 I have an XV-700 that I like. Set neck, hot PAF pickups nice binding. They play fast and hot. It is louder and more full than the Epi LP I had a year ago IMHO. Gets nasty with distortion easier too. The wiring is "modular" meaning there are plugs instead of direct solders. Kind of interesting. I hadn't seen that before. I am putting a Modboard in mine, so it is torn apart now and the modular wiring will soon be a thing of the past.
