Members Fahme84 Posted June 30, 2009 Author Members Share Posted June 30, 2009 honestly... it's the es-135 i own that has the same 57s (installed em myself - I like the semi hollow feedback I can get - the SG sounds great sure, but I can't make her feedback like the 135, which is a big part of my sound - and I don't want to keep around the guitar just because it looks great. ok - incredible. I wasn't trying to offend you.I give my opinion in a matter of fact kind of way.Some people don't like it.I on the other hand find that kind of delivery refreshing as I believe our society is so hung up on offending others and taking ourselves too seriously.I like guitars not ornaments thats why I said what I said.Good luck with the sale.You should have no trouble selling that guitar at all. Do you know who the luthier was in "Arizona"? I'm from Arizona and had several friends that built guitars there. My good friend Joe is a teacher at Roberto-Venn school also. Members Fahme84 Posted July 1, 2009 Author Members Share Posted July 1, 2009 Actually I have the invoice from the original owner - he paid 2600 for it - we met at a local rock climbing gym and I ended up buying this guitar and a few boutique pedals from him when he had his hours cut back. I paid 1500. I'm asking what I paid, but hey, feel free to make a (reasonable) offer. The only change it's had from stock was I replaced the tuners with locking tuners, but it came with grover keystones. The planet waves ones were the only locking tuner I could find that fit the same hole diameter. So to answer your question, no this isn't a cheap import guitar.
