Members wheresgrant3 Posted May 11, 2009 Members Share Posted May 11, 2009 For Sale: The Blue Vox Valvetronix series amps were exceptional in both the range of amps they modeled and the effects section (which is a bit better than Line 6 fare). This head has a huge range of sound you can achieve with all the different amp models, effects etc. I had it paired with a Genz Benz 2x12 stereo cabinet and the sound was extremely versatile, clean and loud. 120 watts split into two 60 watt amps, with a 12ax7 tube preamp. 16 classic amps, and includes programmable effects (21 plus noise reduction in 32 programs). Built-in tuner. Effects loop. VOX AC15 / AC30, Boutique clean with chorus are killer. I also like the Marshall JCM 800 and the Bluesbreaker. I gigged with this with this amp for about 9 months. I have since replaced this with a Line 6 Vetta 2x12 and have sold the cabinet. The 2x12 combo is just more convenient. The amp is in otherwise great condition with the exception of a few tiny nics in the tolex. The head is $325 shipped! I'll consider trades for a POD XT Live, Tone Lab or another Floor Modeler.
