Members Jessz1
13" K/Z's are a great set of hats. I like them alot.
Members DeepDeath
Better all-around use would be a 14", 13's are getting more popular for there tight and brighter sound, but still are not that usable. I haven't seen much 15's being used. also play paiste!
Members slambang
I've been using 13" K/Z hats for over ten years. Great all around hats in every genre of music ... klezmer to metal. 15" hats are a little odd - but give them a listen. They might be the sound your looking for. good luck. Members drummer_of_finland
Hi.Thanks for answers.I went to check out those 15" Ks earlier today but I didnt like them a lot. And the seller overpriced them out of my budjet so I probably go with K/Zs. How about Sabian 14" HH regular hats? Has any of you tried them? Members drummer_of_finland
Originally posted by kang .....and crisp, maybe not suited for sloshy metal, but I could..... Actually metal is a genre that I'm playing the least! So I don`t need that "kling kling" sound out of my hats.

Members Drumlug
Though i use 13 new beats by Zildjian, i will not say to you what to use because of my preference. There is no standard of cymbal size to style of music, only what people are used to hearing. go with what you think sounds good to you. Your practiced technique will win over a flashy drumset or popular gear. An instrument is only as good as the person using it. One disadvantage I found about larger sized hi-hats. The stand seem to geta little sluggish with the heavier, larger hats.Good luck.
Members Dr. Tweedbucket
Sorry for the late reply, but I like a 14" hi hat..... it's just the right sound for most songs (for me).
