Members acefaceace
Do you ever remember dude from that band Enuff Z' Nuff, he was like a baby Tommy Lee...Same big 26'' or 32'' bass drum, same flashy drummingstyle... Me and my buddie here in my office were rattling offdrummers who kinda fall into that Big Bass drum, TommyLee wannabe category... So Far we got Vik Foxx from thatold band Enuff Z' Nuff and Phil Varone ex-Saigon Kick andex-Skid Row....They both got the Tommy Lee thing going on. Any Others? Members nklarow
Wait... Are you serious? Do they even make 32" bass drums? I think not...
Members sherman22
30" bass drums exhist, as do 40" bass drums. They are for Orchestral use, but I guess you could slap a pedal on one and rock out. Why not? :thu:
Members nklarow
Hmm... That's interesting. But I've still heard tell that you can't really play any bass drum larger than 30" cuz it just get's boomy? Check out some threads from about a month ago, you'll know what I'm talking about. Oh wait, the search is disabled.
Members Living Dead Drummer
Tommy's current kit has a 32" bass drum on it. Anything can be custom made I guess.... I think I fall into the wana-b Tommy Lee. I just ordered a new kit that is a lot like his. 26" bass drum. 14" and 16" toms, and 3 electronic pads. Oh wait, the search is disabled. You could play any size bass drum and make it sound any way you wanted if you use triggers, which I'm pretty sure Tommy Lee does.
