Exactly the same specs, so far as I can tell, only the 2000's are metal, instead of plastic, and the cable is detachable, which rules. I actually got the 2000's used from musiciansfriend.com for $130. They needed repair. What was broken, you ask? The tip of the 1/8" end was broken on the cable that can be replaced for $25.
