This is what the manual says: If the pattern does not begin playing when you start yourexternal MIDI sequencer, or if the tempo does not synchronizeto the sequencer, it is possible that the sequencer is nottransmitting MIDI Clock or Start/Continue/Stop messages. I don't know much about MIDI or the GFC other than when I hook it to my GX-700 and step on pedals it will change patches. It's not doing anything for my sampler and I wanna get away from having to walk to the sampler sitting on top of my amp and pushing the buttons. If I could do it all with my feet it would look better on stage.
