Members Anderton
From the news: Pioneer DJ has released it’s Rekordbox DJ software offering to the general public as an add-on Plus Pack to the company's Rekordbox 4.0 DJ library software that transforms it into a full-on DJ app, enabling one to perform from their laptop, also compatible with some of the current DDJ controller line as well as its media players. This is Pioneer’s first entry into the software market dominated by Traktor, Serato DJ and Virtual DJ, gunning for an all-inclusive experience that ties in its hardware with its very own software thus forming an all-in ecosystem for DJs: Making it possible to perform with the same Rekordbox library on your DDJ controller with a laptop as with CDJs and a thumb drive. The DJ user also has the option of taking one’s laptop to the club, plugging in those CDJs, and performing with Rekordbox DJ – with no DVS box necessary. The Software is available for US$129 or US$9.90/month and comes with a free 30-day trial. Also, note that Pioneer has noticed several issues running their products under OS X El Capitan.
