Members Ashley1!
I need a program that allows you to, For example take two songs and edit the 1st song (like cutting it short) then taking the 2nd song and combining it to where the first song left off. Phil O'Keefe
DJ software can usually do that, and in real time, with crossfades and tempo matching. Are you using a Mac or PC? If you have an iPad, check out IK Multimedia's DJ Rig app. Any DAW or stereo audio editing program or app should also be able to do what you want. You could do that edit in a multitrack DAW like Pro Tools, or Reaper, or in a stereo audio editing program like Sound Forge. Even free open source editors like Audacity can be used to edit two songs together. But editing takes a bit of skill and practice (and experience) to really do well. If this is just a one-off thing, or a really important project it might be better to have someone who already knows how do the edit for you. If you're going to be doing it a lot, or just want to experiment with it a bit, then it makes more sense to DIY.
