The voters are speaking to their elected officials and demanding that the path they are trying to go down is BS. That's the way things change. It makes perfect sense if you live in America.

My point was that his slogan was "The change we need" but now that he's in office, things are going on that are making so many people angry that the phone banks are flooded. Explaining takes the fun out of it. SYG,IGH

I didn't catch the slam on Obama. My apologies. I thought you were giving the voters some street cred.

The change we need is that everyone in the US gets tired of all these elected officials blowing smoke up our arses and the phone banks, voice mail and email gets lit up non-stop, all day and every day.

Obama's response to all this is just going back into his campaign mode rhetoric with his "I'm in charge" line added.Guess he thought the American people would accept all his ideas as they did him without question.I knew he was a lying left-wing extremist asshole from the start.

I see a growing gap between the two Obamas. Which one is the real one, as an Obama divided cannot stand.

There's the pragmatic Obama; the one who talks of "doing what works", the one who assembled a pretty centrist Cabinet that includes Republicans, and the one willing to pull Republicans into talks. This, I think, is the real Obama. This is, imo, a good thing.

Then there's this other Obama; the one trying to jam nearly $1T of pork past the US public, or else the sky will fall. The one feverishly signing executive orders to satisfy the Left as much as possible. Is this the real Obama, or is this actually the Dem Congress speaking through him?

The REAL Obama is the one BEFORE he started duping people into believing he's who they need for President. He's back.Did you really expect him to change because he got the top gov job?Chico E. said it best- "Keep your eye on the ball".

Please respect the office...you and I have similar political sympathies, but I am very offended by your language...

I don't know about the rest of it but to be fair, this isn't entirely true. He pardoned a pile of people but not a single one that hadn't already served their entire sentence. This was done to eliminate collateral effects.

It really doesn't matter if he is or isn't an a-hole. He's still our President. If we don't wish to respect that office as Americans how can we expect Europeans and Aussies who frequent this site to do the same?

I never thought Obama was an A-Hole, I personally like the man despite his leanings. I did think Clinton was a A-hole however, he made my skin crawl from the very beginning and Hillary's the same way.

I'm hoping and praying that Obama's able to cut some of the the fat outa this bailout plan. WAY too much chum's got all the libs are in a feeding frenzy!

It doesn't sound like he's having a lot of patience for the process. I read an article yesterday saying that but Dems and Reps are going over the plan line by line but that the bill would be much stronger coming out. The tone of the article was actually pretty positive, like both parties were truly working together. A few hours later, Obama opens his mouth, saying that the we're not going to get anything done by relying on the same old tactics, y'all are taking too long, yada yada. Uhmmmm, ok.
