ABC Orders V Pilot!Source: The Hollywood ReporterJanuary 26, 2009 ABC has given a pilot order to a new take on the 1980s miniseries "V," which was about an alien invasion. Written by "The 4400" co-creator/executive producer Scott Peters, the new "V" will center on a female Homeland Security agent. Any aliens with interstellar travel are going to know that they can go anywhere and find water. Even in our solar system, its better to mine comets, the kuiper belt, or Jupiter's moons and get all the water they need without dealing with humans at all Besides, the gigantic spaceships over cities was done none better than Independence Day. ID may not have been the original and was just as unbelievable, but was a way better story note: the idea of giant spaceships over cities was originally done by Arthur C Clarke in his book 'Childhood's End', so V wasnt the original either Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
