    I saw him play with the Kinks and Argent at concerts. The bands at that time were both very good.

    He played with the Kinks in their later years... sorry to hear he's passed.

      Yup, and that's when I finally got to see them at the garden state arts center in NJ. Quite a show too.

      Argent was just a backup band to headliners when I saw them. The band didn't have enough hits to headline a big arena show common back then. They put they put on a fairly decent show however. I think they either opened before Foghat or Frampton's Camel/Humble pie when I saw them in an all British band lineup. .
