Members chinagroove5150
Howdy- I'm selling my Carvin DC700 7 String Gold-Top: Custom, flawless, gorgeous electric beast of a guitar. Comes with the hard shell case. STATS: Dexterity: Right-Handed Model: DC700 Body Color: Gold Body Type: double cut away Body Material: Solid Wood String Configuration: 7 String Manufactured by Carvin in April 2014, in California. MORE INFO: I ordered this DC700 from Carvin this past April 2014. Reason I'm selling it is that I am jumping on the 8 string band wagon. Since I have another 7 string that is sentimentally important to me, I decided to cut this one loose before I get too connected. This thing sounds fat but tight, big and warm. I put a Dimarzio Illuminator in the bridge - which is responsive to dynamics, has a tight low end and can scream. I will send the guitar with the original bridge humbucker also. The neck pickup, for me, was perfect. I bought a pickup for it but had no need to change it. Here are the specs: - Mahogany neck and body - Ebony fretboard (standard radius), 24 frets - Abalone dot inlays - Maple top with natural binding - Gold-top finish - Thinner neck profile - Passive pickups - Chrome hardware - Fixed bridge, strings through body - Three-way pickup selector - Locking tuners - Hard-shell tolex case included - No scratches or blemishes; it is in absolutely excellent condition. Never played a show with it. I was kind of going for a classic Les Paul look but with a modern, big 7 string sound and performance. - Plays like a dream. - With these specs, this guitar costs $1,420 from Carvin's web-site right now. I paid $1,370. I'll send with the hard-shell case too.
