Overall Rating: i like to play just about every type of music. i have been playing for about 4 years now and i started to realise that there was something missing in my tone. i didn't know what, so i bought this pedal to help. it has been very helpful. effects are like spices, when used in moderation they can really color your tone. i have been able to help my tone with this pedal. i also tried one of the new zoom pedals when i bought this (606 i think) and other than the drive effects, i like the korg a lot better. i really wish it had an amp modeler but hey, for 99 bucks. overall, i think this is a great pedal for beginner and intermediate guitar players who arent really sure what they need from effects. if anyone wants any presets, email me and i'll send you some.
Sound Quality: the thing to remember about the sound quality is it only cost 99 bucks. come on now you are not going to get professional sound quality for that. but for the price, the quality is pretty good. the modulation effects are the high point of this pedal. other than the compressor, the drive effects are useless. seriously, you have to get your distortion from a pedal or your amp and run it into this pedal to get a good distorted sound. the presets are all pretty much rediculous. i bought this pedal because i wasnt really sure what kind of effects i needed. this pedal has been great for experimenting around. for 99 bucks, i think this was a good investment.
Reliability/Durability: i think i could depend on it.
Ease of Use: This is one of the best things about this pedal. it is so easy to create your own programs and since you can name them, you dont have to remember where they are. the manual is pretty good. i still cant get the loop function to work though.
Customer Support: there basically is no customer support. the expression pedal on mine wouldn't turn on or off, so i looked to see if there was a number i could call or something. all it said was to contact the korg dealer for any problems. come on. i havent checked the website yet though

Overall Rating: overall this is a great pedal if youre looking for the big muff tone. dont get this if you want an overdrive. actually, my friend liked it so much he did steal it and if he doesnt give it back soon then i will go and replace it. Its a great pedal for that classic rock tone.
Sound Quality: The sound is pretty good alone. i use a dean guitar through a crate amp (the amp is crap). it sounds more like a fuzz, so if you want an overdrive this isnt the pedal for you. it took a long time to dial it in, but once i did i got a great sound. dont buy it if you play death medal. has a nice mild distortion that really shines through when playing leads, especially hendrix. also good for bush stuff.
Reliability/Durability: seems pretty sturdy. ive gigged with it and played drunk with it. if it can last through that i would say it's pretty sturdy. watch the batteries though.
Ease of Use: It is simple to use, but it takes a long time to dial in a good sound.
