Overall Rating: I did a blind A/B test of the C1 against my Joe Meek JM47 (which is quite a decent mic, but not I think world class). I eq'd both mics just a little to get the sound I like for my voice. I could hardly tell them apart.(So if the C1 sounds like a U87 then so does my Joe Meek.) Hence I returned the C1 to the store I bought it from. I think this mic has been hyped up a tad -- but it's undoubtedly good value for money.
