Overall Rating: Played for 4 years... I have 2 electrics, strat, and epiphone. soon to get a couple new ones...a 27 year old Acousitc of my dads by Yasuma. I wouldnt buy it again, but miss it cause its my first really good amp. i want a new amp so anyone who wants this.in the va area for around 200$ ...then....e-mail me at Ugpguitar@netscape.net
Features: Usa made amp. Early 1998, purchased a year ago. Very easy to move around.. Loud enough for small gigs, coffee houses, etc. I play in a band that plays mostly Older stuff Zeppelin, Hendrix, Cream, etc. and I can get a good sound out of it. 2 channels. Clean and over drive, Headphone Jack, single input, foot switch, but didnt come with the amp. preamp out, power amp in too. Clean is a little to high pitch 50's twang which Im not much for..some adore it.I cant stand it. Distortion is very good.not very metal or Punk..but I also run it through a Crybaby. Reverb is nice, May short or so...pop even at lower volumes, but put it on 1 1/2 balance out the volume with your guitar or gain if it seems to loud...gain can make the amp completely off if its at 0.
Sound Quality: Fender mexican made standard strat, 3 single coils, and an Epiphone LP jr with a P-90. The P-90 of course is nice. The single sounds fairly good too. Not that great for lead on some settings.but good for Surf Music, blink 182, some Ska too. Pops some times ...I went to get my Jack or input checked out cause I was sick of it and thought it was a piece of shit..but they said they did everthing to it possible and no problems..And I was also ready to trade in for one of the new Marshall solid states and the guy said I was dumb and thats like going from a Corvette to a Volkswagen. But Im yet to try out the new Spider 112 from Line 6...just cause I want a mesa sound...but cant afford it...
Reliability/Durability: I've used it at practices..and its fucked up on me...but Its doin dandy now.
Customer Support: Nope, two shops to fix it, both authorized, both ran fender tests, and said it was perfect amp.
