If lost or stolen I couldn't buy another, it's unique. I'd go out and buy a Schecter PT
Features: I bought it used, I'm not sure where or when it was made ( probably 1986 or so ) Black with cream binding, 22 fret maple neck w/ rosewood fingerboard. Not sure of the woods on the body, but it is solid wood ( probably maple ).
Bridge is a Kahler...I really like it better than a Floyd on this guitar, which is the opposite on say a strat ).
Pickups were stock, OK ....now they're EMG humbucker in the bridge and a EMG single coil in the middle and a double rail humbucker ( the size fo a single coil ) in the neck ( Dimarzio? )
This gutiar really reminds me of a Schecter PT Tele ... just less expensive
Sound Quality: Sounds great after I tweaked it a little. The new pickups are great!! I play rock with this guitar and it does the job fine. The bridge pickup is what I use for rhythm and leads ( on rock ). I don't use the middle much .... the neck is great for bluesier soloing. The sound is prett bright, but balanced.
Reliability/Durability: I can count on this guitar in all situations, very good on the strings....

A real workhorse. I use it as a backup mainly for my Les Paul and Strat, but I have no reservations about using as the main axe when I gig out.
Customer Support: never dealt with em ... are they still in business?
Price: $200.00 USD USED

Overall Rating: Ive been playing for about 14 years now ( since 5150 was released )and this is by far the best guitar I've owned. I've gone through a number of fenders and superstrats during my "hairband fasination stage". But when I compare this to the other Acoustic/Electrics I've owned ... it blows 'em away. I used to have a Kramer Ferrington ..looks cool, played like butter, sound was thinner than Karen Carpenter on a laxative bender if ya know what I mean
Features: I bought this guitar in 1996 after my buddy cracked the headstock of my Alvarez. Made in Japan or Taiwan ( aren't they one-in-the-same? )
I really love the minimalist features of this guitar. No glossy finish, no pickguard, no fingerboard dots. I believe it has a cedar top and rosewood sides ... but hey I could be wrong.
Takamine brand 3-band EQ with gain and volume controls

A straight forward guitar
Sound Quality: This is the best thing about the guitar. It sounds great!!! I play a lot of different styles on it from melencholy my-life-sucks music to folk ( fingerstyle ) to rock. It fits in pefectly. I think because it doesn't have a shiny gloss finish it isn't "super bright", which I like. It's got a great balance between the mids low's and Highs. For the price you can't beat it.
Reliability/Durability: Great for gigging live. My god, things thing can't go out of tune....my god, this guitar is beerproof!
I was getting some feedback off of it so I bought one of those plastic devices you set into the sound hole. Cleared that problem up.
Customer Support: Never dealt with Takamine
