Overall Rating: It has done what I needed it to and then some, been reliable and sounded great at the same time. I give it a 10 for those who do not want a gizmo laden elctronic based amp with a ton of effects. Just a good sounding basic overdriven amp that has a surprising clean sound when needed. I could probably find a better sounding amp but I doubt it will be within the same price range as this one.
Features: I bought this amp new in 2003. Single channel and simple controls: Gain, bass, mid, treble, master volume and reverb controls. Two inputs, high and low, I always use the high input. Two ¿¿¿Vintage 30¿¿¿ Celestions and a very heavy wood cabinet. Guitar is an American Double Fat Strat with a Seymour Duncan ¿¿¿59¿¿¿ in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan ¿¿¿Pearly Gates¿¿¿ in the bridge position. The 59 can be split for a single coil sound and less gain. I originally bought this amp to play hard rock at gigs in a cover band (Live, Bush, Hootie and the Blowfish, etc.). It handled this job very well. For 30 watts it is very loud. It will easily keep up with a half stack and a heavy drummer without the need to be mic'ed. It does not sound good at bedroom practice volumes. I think the master volume at least needs to be at 35% to 40% to sound good. Less than that it sounds thin and loses bass and treble. I usually kept the gain at around 60% to 70% for a nice overdriven sound that cleared up when the volume was backed off on the guitar, although it was never a fender type of clean, it always retained a little bit of overdrive. Adjustments in picking style also play into the sound as well, light picking gets cleaner sounds and heavy picking causes more overdrive. EQ was kept at 50% for all three controls and reverb was at 0 for gigs. The reverb was a nice surprise, it is not like the fender "Surf's up" reverb but it did add a nice touch and some depth to the guitars I ran through it. The louder you turn the amp up the better it sounds, typical of tubes. I like that it doesn¿¿¿t need to be re-biased after a tube change, helps save money and makes tube changes easy for me to handle.

After I used this amp for a while I quit playing with the previously mentioned cover band and the amp sat in my room unused for two years. Last month I began to play with my church band for Sunday services. The Orange was the smallest tube amp I had so I brought it to church thinking I would use it temporarily until I bought a cleaner sounding ¿¿¿church¿¿¿ amp. I was very surprised how this amp sounded for worship music when the gain was turned down. I now keep the gain at about 35% and the master volume about the same. With this setting and my neck pickup in ¿¿¿single coil¿¿¿ setting I get great clean sounds with plenty of volume for a 5 piece church band. We do run the amp through the board with a Sure 57 mic, but that is more for control by the sound techs and not volume issues with the amp. I could, and have, turned the master up to 50% and the sound has remained clean with the single coil pickup setting. When I need a bit of crunch I switch to the full humbucker setting on my neck pickup and the amp just starts to break up (overdrive) without the need to change any settings on the amp, sounds great and is just the right amount of overdrive for the occasional light rock worship song. I give this category a 5 because it has met my needs on two seperate occassions, but it still does not have a lot of gizmos and seperate channels. Not a bad thing as this is what I wanted in an amp.
Sound Quality: It does the overdriven rock sound better than any other amp I have personally heard or played. It does NOT do the high-gain heavy metal sound. Think of Oasis and Weezer type of sounds and you have what this amp does best. Lots of mid frequencies in the sound that help push through the mix in a band setting. The mid control actually begins to act like more of an added gain control after about 50% instead of adding mid frequencies. Treble is sparkly but not overpowering, bass response is great and helps the amp to sound ¿¿¿big¿¿¿. The bass is interesting on this amp as it does not sound flabby with more volume and gain, but instead stays focused and detailed. The speakers match the sound this amp has very well. The cleaner settings I use at church are very thick sounding with lots of mid and bass and the treble does not pierce the ears. The clean sounds also have a more ¿¿¿Woodsy¿¿¿ tone to them. Hard to explain but it sounds great. It might be the tone of the fretboard or guitar body coming through the amp. It will not do ¿¿¿very clean¿¿¿ and ¿¿¿heavy overdrive¿¿¿ without adjusting the settings. It will do either one or the other. Not that I have need to do both sounds at the same time but if you do than the twin channel AD 30TC might be a better option for you. Over all I give it a 10 for sound.
Reliability/Durability: No problems since purchased, sturdy construction, no expensive tech fees to re-bias after a tube change, No hiss or white noise during lulls in playing (important for a church amp when a pastor needs to speak), I do not have a back-up at church as I could run through the board in an emergency, probably should have back-up tubes but I have never had a problem
Customer Support: Never delt with them, can't say, I think they are in a different country. Their website has a lot of useful info and manuals.

Overall Rating: If you can get one that is reliable, than go for it, but I will stay away from Fender amps for a while. Or maybe upgrade to the vintage re-issue series.
Features: Amp was a 2006 model, Single 10 speaker, one channel, one volume and one tone knob. 15 watts (Tubed), loud for 15 watts with a 10 inch speaker, clean to overdrive sounds are obtained by cranking the volume. I bought it for worship music with a semi clean sound in mind, I planned on mic'ing it and did not want to blow the choir off of the stage, so low power was desired. Not much else for features but that is how I wanted it.
Sound Quality: The sound was great for the price! Total blues and rock sounds were available, I think it might be the best sounding amp I have heard for the price! Cleans were warm and there was plenty of treble. I used humbuckers with it exclusively. Tube rectifier would probably improve the sound a bit but the design is intended to be economical to produce and a tube rectifier would add cost to manufacturing. I have heard better 15 watt combos (Dr. Z, Matchless, and Vox come to mind) but they cost way more than this amp.
Reliability/Durability: Here is where the problem was with my amp. I had it for six days, the first five days it worked and sounded great. On day six something came loose inside and the sound became horrible, very distorted but not in the good way. Very fuzzy, plus whatever came loose was rattling around in the chasis of the amp with every hit of my A string, A very loud rattle at that.
Customer Support: Didn't even call Fender, I didn't want to go through the hassle mailing it to them and I didn't want a replacement from the store, I returned it to Guitar Center and they took it back with no questions asked.
