Re: OFFICIAL Photo Thread: NAMM-goers: post your photos here!

The 'sound cops' were everywhere, God only knows how many plain-clothes sound cops were infiltrating the hoardes at NAMM...

Just in case the sound cops weren't immediately available, NAMM provided rudimentary but effective protection at the entrances....

Though obviously not impressed with the 'unsurf-like' hick from South Dakota, Dick Dale graciously signed a poster for yours truly, something I will always cherish...

Something kinda neat coming from Ibanez in 2011....sparkly with racing stripes...works for me!

I don't play drums....but dammit!!! after seeing this kit, I want to....

Found a couple of other cool guitars sprinkled about the booths....

Gotta love Utah!...(we drove out).....

This was one of my favorite visual presentations of the show. I slowed down every time I passed it.

Those two guys spent a lot of time hovering around our booth... especially when guitar master Johnny Hiland was in the house.

Their songs are on the whole very simple and mostly follow the familiar theme of boy-being meets girl-being under a silvery moon which then explodes for no adequately explored reason.

These are great photos, Jon. Not only do I enjoy looking at all of them for their visual appeal, they also serve as great resource for checking out what's coming down the line.

I was carrying around my E.A.R. SoundChecker and often saw the red light following drum beats, particularly when there was a band playing in the lobby. That's 100 dB.

Since this is a photo thread:

Great shots Steve. If you put "image tags" ( instead of link ) "around" your links, the pictures will actually display in the thread. If you are having problems, I can edit your posts and do it for you. I went ahead and did the edit on your last picture - that will allow you to hit the "edit" button on that post and more clearly see what I'm talking about. If you need help, just let me know. Oh by the way - there is a limit of ten images per post, so we may need to create a new post if one or two of your posts has more than ten picture links in it.
