For anyone in this neighborhood that owns this old ver of Audition, and running it on Win7 64Bit mode, are you having ANY issues running it?
I'm running it with Sonar 8.5.3 in 64bit, and I can't really tell if my issues are from when I forget to convert sample/bit rates between the 2 apps. For instance, when I'm in multitrack mode in Audition and I have 1 track in 44.1k/16Bit, and try to record a vocal track in 48k/32Bit it gives me an error msg of something like "Error defining external device" blah, blah. I realize what could be the obvious, but I don't recall that msg ever occurring while trying that when I was in a native 32Bit mode. I also would think that it would rather give me the other error msg telling/asking that I have 2 conflicting sample/bit rates, and would I like to save the old, and create a new one that doesn't conflict.
One other favor, if I may indulge? I used to have a little utility designed for CW users that allowed you to insert app choices at the bottom of the Tools menu so I could go straight into Audition, or any other app that I inserted into this utility. Anybody happen to have that utility. It used to be found on CakewalkNet.com, but they shut that site down.
