"Senators say they fear the N.R.A. and the gun lobby. But I think that fear must be nothing compared to the fear the first graders in Sandy Hook Elementary School felt as their lives ended in a hail of bullets. The fear that those children who survived the massacre must feel every time they remember their teachers stacking them into closets and bathrooms, whispering that they loved them, so that love would be the last thing the students heard if the gunman found them."- Gabrielle Giffords

Occasionally, that was quite funny.

There are not enough witty people on this forum for such a thread to work here.  Three replies in, someone would ruin the thread with their actual stupidity.

Instead, we must rely upon threads that make fun of religion or the evil rich.  Oh, well...

Yeah, god forbid we should criticize the wealthy or the church. When did the Enlightenment happen again?

See, this is how stultifying this place is. Even our wittier posters are reduced to plain sarcasm. :smileysad:

Can we still laugh at your failure to agreeify in number your demonstrative adjectives and your nouns? Hell, I'm just gonna go ahead and do it.

Ha!

MIne was a typo. What is your excuse?

What does aggreeify mean?  Do the words context and coherence mean anything at all to you?

Sorry, my attention sometimes wanders when I read your posts so I kind of free associate.

Someday I'll learn Newb, a language comprised entirely of snide rhetorical questions, and we can truly communicate. :smileytongue:

Can I call you Grumpy Polecat because it is often difficult to tell your posts apart from his ramblings?

Does the concept of differentiating between forumites mean anything to you???

Your names and avatars are different, but you share incoherent rambling posts. Grumpy's post are often angry and yours are flowery.

Call me a bitch if you want to, but those are my honest opinions.

You realize that angry and flowery are different things, right?

Stop the presses because OD has a firm grasp of the blatantly obvious.

Yeah, so you're not making much of a case for the OD/GP alter ego theory. I mean the shallow thinking in your posts is pretty common among hcppers, but it would still be a leap to conclude that you're all one and the same. I guess you do distinguish yourself with a few rhetorical tics. There's the does so-and-so mean anything to you? The perennially clever are you x or just y. And of course the I bet you're that other forumite.

There must've been some strato threads that were "epic". He was the ultimate self-pawnr, and some of them got to epic lengths.
