It was 2 threads ago, almost 2 years ago. PN2 has harassed me since. He has followed me through 3 threads.

lol, like that makes any sense at all. 

faith, for me, doesn't come from a scripture. 

scripture is not a straight forward "how to" manual. 

they were written at a different time and under different social and cultural circumstances. 

knowing some of the background of the time, helps a lot in understanding them.

such as the social norms and customs of the era and what was going on.

facinating stuff when you get into it.

No that is simply the rationalization believers use to believe the unbelievable. Suspension of disbelief if you will . And it reinforces in group mentality by giving the believer a sense that he knows something that out group people don't. It's arrogance in it purest form

Correct. People like to think they're special, so having special knowledge is very appealing. This is also one of the reasons why there are some 35,000 different sects in Christianity alone. Our sect knows something special about the bible that the other sects don't.

I pary all the time that the Lord heal the little ones. He does heal children. The others He takes home to be with Him.

The Bible says to proclaim the great works of God. I say again when the thread gets way off topic and it helps get it back on track.
