You are right - I don't understand. Are you saying you believe that Blind Faith trumps Loving Kindness?
Could someone who is greedy, hateful and dishonest be granted eternal life simply by "accepting Christ" or are you saying there is much more to it than that?
Please "enlighten" me.

Blind faith is blind and knows nothing, its a dead end
. God wants you to know him and his ways.The bible says that God is love and light, and in him, is no darkness what so ever.It also says that loving your fellow man and doing good by him is your reasonable service. In other words your everyday service rendered to God is to love. Remember, Jesus said to love your enemy.
You see, it starts to get very difficult and costly to be the real deal.
When one accepts Christ, the Spirit of God comes to dwell within that person and helps us to love like we should.
Its hard to follow God even with the Spirit much less without him.Empty religion is empty religion, without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to show the way and help.
Now about the evil man going to heaven.
AN evil man wants nothing to do with the Real Christ or his father because the evil man must lower himself and ask for forgivness.
If He can do this, then Yes there is hope for him....... but just how evil are we?
We all like sheep have gone astray each his own way and some of us wouldn't consider ourselves evil by our own judgement...... but God may see us better or worse then we think we are.He is our Judge and we should go to him and accept the pardon and not even judge ourselves.
We respect many in our world but refuse to give respect to the very one who created us and gives us life and breath.
Some even judge God to be evil, not having all the facts.
I haven't met one person in my 60 years that knows everything there is to know about God or His creation, so how can they judge rightly?
I agree that God (for want of a better term) is Love and Light.
I also agree that loving your fellow man and doing right by him (I prefer the term Loving Kindness) is a very good thing and that Loving Kindness should also extend to our "enemy." I don't find this difficult at all.
Where I do have a problem, however, is in the personification and externalization of this Love and Light that you talk about. I do not believe there is some external being who has super human powers and controls everthing and ultimately judges us. What you refer to as the Holy Spirit is already inside of us all and we just need to cut through the layers of deception and uncover it.
I never used the terms "evil" or "Heaven" because I think these are just things we humans made up to illustrate a point and should not be taken lierally.
There is no one but ourselves to "judge" us at the end of our lives but, like dropping a pebble into a pond, our actions (karma) will eventually bounce around like the waves in the pond and come back to affect us one way or another.
All living beings deserve our respect - they are no different than we are. Mother Nature gives us life and breath and certainly deserves our respect as well.
As you say, no one has all the facts when it comes to God (for want of a better term) so why not just live a life based on Loving Kindness while we strive to find the Love and the Light instead of fighting over which religios philosophy, if any, is the right one.
In short, just "be nice" for no other reason than being nice and when the ride is over we'll findout what, if anything, happens next.
