His opinion notwithstanding, Stallone would be a hypocrite if he said he thought violent movies were harmful.
You could definitely make the argument that by popularizing imagery of the very guns he proposes restricting, he is simultaneously stimulating demand while endorsing limited supply. Hmmm, maybe he has stock in gun companies?
Still, Rocky I and II absolve him of all wrongdoing.

Really?? Stembridge Guns in Glendale, CA provides over 80% of guns used in cinema. They do design prop guns but the bulk of their rentals are very real firearms, machine guns and all.

You can't let a guy with his inexperience have 25 shells. Somebody might get hurt.
He gets to shoot one shell at a time, and a SS agent picks up the spent shells and hands him another after checking all the body parts to make sure nobody was hurt.
I wonder if a background check was required to buy that weapon? He wouldn't have passed one since all his data is concealed.

When it comes to a shotgun don't confuse the President with Dick Cheney.

yes, even here in hong kong, the movie people have to go to a govt licened prop shop to get guns or cop uniforms, badges, or anything like that for a film.
very strict.

So it matters that Stallone performs in movies using pretend guns that look scary, but it doesn't matter what the real ones look like?

Link to Sylvester Stallone extolling the virtues of any firearm? I've never heard him do it. But, I'm sure you have and can provide this easily. But, spare me some Rambo clip. Hint: It's a movie. He's an actor. He gets paid tens of millions of dollars to be in these movies. Heck, for that money, I'd even play a Republican.

=================================
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Sylvester Stallone says that despite his "Rambo" image and new shoot-em-up film "Bullet to the Head," he's in favor of new national gun control legislation.
Stallone supported the 1994 "Brady bill" that included a now-expired ban on assault weapons, and hopes that ban can be reinstated.
"I know people get (upset) and go, 'They're going to take away the assault weapon.' Who ... needs an assault weapon? Like really, unless you're carrying out an assault. ... You can't hunt with it. ... Who's going to attack your house, a (expletive) army?"
Movies are generally fantasy entertainment and don't necessarily stand as a symbol of an actor's values. Hell, I love shoot 'em up movies and video games, myself, but I don't even own a gun or have a desire to.
