i don't have the bass skills to add a decent bass line, to that.

it's just a little mello stroll anyway. i have a 335 clone, i can get to sound like that, but i had a little too much treb when i recorded it.

I LOVE Mahavishnu Orchestra.  I'm friends with Premik Russell Tubbs, who played sax and flute on Visions of the Emerald Beyond.  Here's a track I wrote and produced with Premik:

I think it's more common these days to pretend to not like jazz, because stupid kids think it's lame.

"You don't see the European classical musicians allowing the music of Bach, Brahms, or Beethoven to become extinct. That music has gone on for centuries and centuries. We have the same obligation. Why do we have to become so 'hip' that we can say, 'Bebop is square,' or "New Orleans is square'? This, to me, is a shame." - Rahsaan Roland Kirk

"Bright Moments is like hearing some music that ain't nobody else heard, and if they heard it they wouldn't even recognize that they heard it because they been hearing it all their life but they nutted on it, so when you hear it and you start popping your feet and jumping up and down they get mad because you're enjoying yourself but those are bright moments that they can't share with you because they don't know even how to go about listening to what you're listening to and when you try to tell them about it they don't know a damn thing about what you're talking about!" - Rahsaan Roland Kirk

rahsaan is way cool!

2-3 saxs at once.

seen him many times.

"bright moments! you can put diana ross in a violin case and still have room for the violin!" lol!

pat martino was awesome. my fav from him was an lp called "pat martino live", picked it up in a 99cent bin, bought 4 copies. wore them out.

benson is no slouch, before he hit it with "on broadway" he was getting $2k a week, after that it was $30k.lol!

coryell seen many times. Counts rock band and live at the village gate. mose, burton, metheny, miles, gato, monk, mann.
