No, it's the pro-gun side pushing for more mental health screenings. Well, if they don't weed out potential jack-nut crazies like Nugent, then what exactly are they pushing for? Just some "feel good" legislation that isn't going to accomplish anything?
Exactly...especially considering that Nugent has made threatening remarks in the past, and also has been convicted of a gun related crime.

Yes, for his veiled threat about being dead or in jail if Obama gets elected. Now this --- coupled with the fact he has been convicted on gun related charges i the past......
So we have a person who makes threats and is known to be irresponsible with guns, this is the perfect optimality to stem some potential violence.
I wonder why the righties aren't on board, if they are being honest when they say they are concerned about gun violence...
