What this?? A bleeding heart liberal having a problem with a gay man?? You homophobic ass. What a hypocrite. I wouldn't blame the rest of the libz if they kicked your ass to the curb. Then you can join the conservatives where the real men are.

Amazing. At least he's partnering with the Dems to do something about immigration. BTW, we had better keep Israel in the loop until the Middle East is stabilized or the oil runs out.

Yeah, you guys wear your homophobia like merit badges.
At least you didn't bother trying to come up with a beard for Graham. ![]()

Yes, on their way into the men's room with their "wide stance".

Jack, you used to be a somewhat rational voice of conservatism around here, but you've really gone off the deepend in the last year. Both Brennan and Hagel are conservatives. A President who you deem ultra-liberal has nominated 2 conservatives to important national security positions, and South Carolinians feel that obstructing these nominations is the right thing to do? If George Bush had nominated these men, he would have been saluted by South Carolinians.
You are an angry dude, and your anger is making you irrational. Politics shouldn't be a battlefield, it's not a battle your side is going to win with the demographics shifts this country is going through.

By your definition, anyone nominated that gets confirmed will necessarily be an "Obama bot". So then you are saying you'd rather see all those positions go unfilled for the next four years.
You pick up on things really quick.
Congrats.

Dude thinks for himself.
If dude thinks he can run the Department of Defense in a manner that Obama doesn't approve of, dude has another thing comin'.
He'll do what Obama tells him to do, or he won't have a job. That's how it works.

that was in reference to your stupid "bot" remark.
Hagel ain't nobody's bot.
that's how it works.
thanks for playing.

Which of course is why he is not in the good graces of the loony right.
hagel had one of the worst performances in a conformation hearing in history. The guy proved that he knew little about the job and showed up clueless. I can see why people wont give him their vote.

First off, it is a confirmation hearing; not a conformation. He does not have to conform.
Secondly that's fine if they don't want to vote for him. but for chrissake, just effing vote. Up or down. and quit the filibustering BS.
Vote against him.
Why are the GOP such dolts? Always? Every time?

You're right and it is because I do not trust this administration...period. Both of these guys are RINOs. I've never been a Chuck Hagel fan. He was a member of the wrong party. As far as the demographic shift of the US, the shift is twofold. We need an America 1 & 2. It's basically rural vs urban. We do not like the direction this country is headed in. We do not like the blatant disregard for morality, honor and integrity. It cannot succeed. Look to Europe for your proof. Yet the left is bound and determined to force us in this direction. We won't allow it. The left is doing it's best to emasculate this country. No guns, attacks on contact sports, no racing or high horsepower cars, etc. We don't want to be peace-love-dove people. The difference is that we don't mind if you do. On the other hand the left feels that their way is the only way and that ways of the right should be abolished. Most of the people in the red states feel this way. We are sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Just remember that immorality exists everywhere, it's not exclusive to either political party. It wasn't the left that launched an immoral preemptive strike on Iraq. It wasn't the left wing leaders at Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns that tanked our economy. It's not the left that wants to make college education more difficult to obtain. It's not the left that gave us supply-side and trickle down economics. It's not left wing corporation owners that decided that cheap foreign labor was more important than the American worker.
I would say all of these acts lacked morality honor and integrity, were mostly driven by wealthy right wing people, and are far more significant than this emasculation you speak of.
But then again, I'm far more reasonable than you are and I'm not in bed with either party.

Ya I live in SC too. There are quite a few people like Jack Walker, but not as many as before...a lot of industry has brought in people from other states. I just nod my head at these folks while they wait in line for their medication. It's funny and sad...all you can really do is teach their kids to be skeptical and think critically for themselves so they don't grow up to be numbskulls.
