Well, there was that part where he used emergency stimulus funds and bailout money to prevent complete economic collapse, save companies and allow the business world to reorganize itself, rather than letting the whole thing collapse. Does that count as "helping the economy?" Or are you waiting for obscene tax breaks given to "Job Creators," most of whom either spend the money on themselves or used it to send production jobs overseas, to "help the economy?"
