Americans are onboard with that, and that's real easy to remember. 69%. She's been through hell and highwater in her personal and professional life and came out a survivor and winner. She's got icon staus, and the right has nobody to compete wth that fact. Can they beat her in 2016 if she runs? Sure, but they really need to up their game and their players, and so far there's no sign of that.
That stamp of approval shows how fucking stupid Americans are. She's done nothing in the interest of most Americans over her career.
And yes, I think her time at Wal Mart is part of her career - and Wal Mart has been crapping on American workers and using slave labor overseas to make big profits - she endorsed that. War Monger, Wall Street apologist, her husband killed lots of people with sanctions as president, and now she's getting to do the same thing as Secretary of State.
You are seriously giving her the end of the war in Iraq as a positive? She voted to start the fucking war in the first place. And this nonsense that she got duped into voting for it means a) she's an idiot (I don't think that's true) or b) she really did want the war to happen. Aside from the fact that the end of the Iraq war followed the timetable the Bush administration had in place, so it was ending no matter who was president.
Spoken like a true believer in politics in the trenches, but we're not talking trenches here. it's public opinion that matters, and those numbers are on her side big time. I see what you're saying, but to Mr. and Mrs. Rankandfile, it doesn't matter worth a damn or it would be hurting her right now. And if it doesn't matter now, it sure as hell won't years from now.
If it had mattered at all, Bush/Cheney would have been prosecuted like they should have been.

Yep. On a higher level, it may have been the right thing to do, but it would have torn the country apart. Obama didn't want that as it would have defined his presidency.

He was right about the black president. I think the country felt they could shed some of the guilt of the past if they elected a black president. Maybe people felt the world would finally accept us. He was not a better candidate than Hillary but WE DID THE RIGHT THING by electing him.

I've never yet voted for somebody because I felt guilty. You never did, ned never did, and I've never known anybody who ever said that. That cuts down that particular voter bloc quite a bit, so it had to be something else that got Obama elected unless ned's got access to some exit polls only he knows about. And you'd still have to explain how he got re-elected even after we collectively shed all that guilt. Maybe it just didn't take the first time?

It's not that you guys felt guilty - quite the opposite. You think you're superior to bigots past and present, and you proved your superiority by voting for the black guy.
But, I think, when we've really gotten over this insane melanin obsession we'll vote for an African American because he's the most qualified. And that surely doesn't describe Barack Obama. You may have encouraged the bigots by confirming their belief that blacks are less qualified.

I voted for who I thought was the BEST guy who happened to be black. Is there a problem for you processing that?

Well, I don't want to call you a liar, but I don't think so. There was no evidence to suggest he'd be good at the job, and when he was up for re-election, plenty of evidence he is bad at it.
That doesn't mean you voted color, of course, but you didn't vote for him because he'd be the best person for the job.

I'm TELLING you why I voted for him and you can't process THAT. Obama was not elected and re-elected because of white guilt. That's a rightwing fantasy even more absurd than the usual ones.

WTF is wrong with this editor? It just blew away my entire text without a hint why!
RWNTs from Markoh to Mitt Romney never believed it was possible for Romney to lose until Fux Noise was FORCED to call Ohio for Obama, over Karl Rove's insane tantrum. They don't live in the real world so when the real world kicks 'em in the ass they have to INVENT some crack-pot crazy reason because they cannot deal with the obvious one: They are wrong.

Of course Obama isn't going to prosecute Bush/Cheney , that would make him a target to be prosecuted in 4 years for all the illegal things he is doing - like drone bombing people in countries we aren't even at war with.

Even you clowns didn't give a shit about Romney. There was no "Romney wing" in the republican party.. He disappeared after he got his ass kicked like he was never there, and that's the guy you wanted running the country? There isn't even a ripple left to mark where he sank, and good riddance. Next time get serious.

the rich white guy lost, remember? i'd rather romney run the country than obama. how could he do any worse?
now let's see how far "blame bush video repubs" goes.
obama owns it all now. always did but...you know how the press is.
the buck stops with him, not me.
do u go around lamenting a job you never got or move on?
do u pine for the spotlight, no matter what?

he hasn't done squat and yeah, they did vote for the black guy and not the rich white guy.
that's the only thing that makes any fuckin sense! lol!!!
j/k sorta
so we will see, if the "blame everyone/thing but obama" meme starts up again.
notice that no one gets sacked? benghazi=petreaus, wtf?
sacrificial lambs and the biggest BS ever.
i've watched politics since JFK. obama has his place in history, no prob but what about his legacy?

Yump the Chump can't get over his butthurt. The people here that voted for him are telling you why they voted for him and you can't accept it. Instead you have to make up a fantasy excuse to ease your oh so sore butt.
